
Bob Yuill is the President/CEO of YUILL Strategic Solutions, LLC. The company is focused on Defense and Federal government contracting. His 55+ years of experience in the federal/defense communities consists of 27+ years of military service, followed by 28 years as a federal/defense contractor.
Bob was commissioned in the US Army in 1972 as a Distinguished Military Graduate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, MA. His military and defense contracting experience is extensive. Military assignments spanned platoon through major staff levels, including service in CONUS, OCONUS, and combat environments. His background includes: – Infantryman, Aviator, Logistician, Analyst through Program Manager and Division Director levels, Support to Special Mission Units and Special Access Programs, Capture and proposal management with “contract wins in excess of $15B. Community Leadership In addition to leading YUILL Strategic Solutions, Bob serves the Williamsburg community through multiple civic roles. These positions reflect his commitment to responsible development, historic preservation, and community stewardship.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University – Business Management (minor Accounting) and master’s degrees from the University of Southern California (Systems Management) and the National Defense University (Strategic Resources).
Bob currently resides in Williamsburg, VA and has been serving on its Architectural Review Board for the past four years and was recently appointed to be a member of the city Planning Commission for a four-year term. He has also served with the Williamsburg Chapter of the Society of Retired Executives (SCORE) with a focus on Government contracting for small businesses.
